ZOO Digital publishing, choose meshcards to launch original games title, Alien Hominid

Zoo DigitalComputer games publisher ZOO Digital Publishing, have today chosen meshcards to launch their popular Alien Hominid title on the GameBoy Advance platform. Due for release early December 2005 in time for Christmas, the title has proven incredibly popular worldwide, with the prototype Flash version alone receiving more than 12 million downloads!

The Alien Hominid meshcard campaign will see an exclusive set of ten meshcards available via promotion on the Alien Hominid website at www.alienhominid.co.uk and through promotional inserts in retail packs. Rob Bartholomew, Marketing Manager at ZOO said, “The meshcards concept is perfect for our market. We continue to evolve our titles at an aggressive rate and its imperative we gain a complete understanding of our consumers. Meshcards will help us achieve this whilst clearly distributing our brand on a very intelligent and highly targeted media format.”

Premiered on Ubisoft games title “Bomberman” this summer, more than 80,000 meshcards were requested by consumers within four weeks of this campaign launch, proving the consumer requirement and demand. With viral circulation reaching more than 50% of daily registrations at any one point, consumers certainly received the ingenious media with significant anticipation.
