Wigan Athletic (2005)
Recently promoted to the Barclaycard Premiership, Wigan Athletic prides itself on it's fanatical fan base. The club is even owned by former player and local millionaire businessman David Whelan, who is also behind the UK's biggest sports retailer, JJB Sports.
Wigan asked Mesh to create an exclusive set of consumer paid Meshcards featuring the clubs key players and team. Promoted to their fan base, these Meshcards provide a tangible media that their fans distribute to like minded individuals at no cost to Wigan Athletic.
